Which Radium Chalet Suite Is Right for You? A Guide to All 7 Room Types

Choosing the right room shapes the whole trip. At Radium Chalet, all seven suite types come with the comforts travellers ask about most: a fireplace, a private balcony, a kitchenette, free WiFi and free parking. The differences come down to floor, view, beds and who you are travelling with. Here is how to pick.

For couples: three queen suites

Main Floor Queen Suite is the practical pick. It sleeps two and comes with a river rock fireplace, a private balcony and a kitchenette. It is also the pet-friendly option, so the dog can come along. No stairs to climb with luggage, either.

Second Floor Queen Suite adds elevation and outlook, with views over the mountains and the village. A sofa gives you a second place to sit besides the bed, which matters on a multi-night stay. Fireplace and balcony included.

Third Floor Queen Suite trades convenience for character: vaulted ceilings, a wide view, fireplace and balcony. Note that it requires stairs, so it suits travellers who are comfortable climbing. See all the details on our Rooms page.

For view seekers: the corner suites

If the view is the point of the trip, book a corner. The Corner Second Floor Suite wraps you in panorama with two private balconies facing different directions, plus a fireplace for the evening.

The Corner Third Floor Suite goes one further: vaulted ceilings, two balconies and the most open view in the building. One thing to know: the corner suites are not pet-friendly, so plan accordingly if the dog is coming.

For families and groups: two family suites

The Third Floor Family Suite sleeps six across two bedrooms plus a loft, with two queen beds, a twin and a double sofa bed. A wood-burning river rock fireplace anchors the living space, two balconies give everyone outdoor room, and a full-size fridge handles a week’s groceries. Stairs are required.

The Deluxe Family Suite sleeps five in a two-storey layout with two queens and a single sofa bed, a full kitchen and a full-size fridge, plus balconies. The full kitchen is the difference-maker for families who cook: real meals, packed lunches for the park, and no restaurant bill three times a day.

A note on stairs and access

There is no elevator, so floor choice matters for mobility. The Main Floor Queen Suite is the easiest option with no stairs at all. Every third-floor suite, including both family suites, requires stairs. If stairs are a concern, mention it when you book and we will confirm the best fit. Our Amenities page covers the full list of what the property offers.

What every suite includes

Whichever you choose: fireplace, private balcony, kitchenette, free WiFi, free parking, plus the shared BBQ and picnic area, garden and terrace. Housekeeping is on request rather than daily, so just ask whenever you need fresh towels or extra amenities. The property is smoke-free with a dedicated outdoor smoking zone.

Two honest notes so there are no surprises: we do not serve breakfast, and there is no hot tub or sauna on site. The Radium Hot Springs pools, a short drive away, cover the soaking. More answers are on our FAQs page.

Good to know before you book

We do not publish fixed room rates because they move with the season, so always check live rates for your dates. Staying a week or longer? Ask about extra amenities when you book. Housekeeping runs on request rather than daily, so fresh towels are one call away at any point in your stay.

At check-in we take your card details as a damage guarantee only. Nothing is held or charged unless damage is found, and your details are discarded 24 hours after checkout. We accept cash, Mastercard, Visa and all major cards. Check-in runs from 4 to 10 PM and check-out is before 11 AM.
